Book Review: Diary of A Wimpy Kid
As a librarian, I thought that it was irresponsible of me to not know why all the kids were obsessed with this book (and its sequels).
So I read it.
It gets points for making kids want to read.It gets points for trusting the reader to understand the humor, and for being “addictive.”
I probably would have enjoyed it as a 9 year old.
Loses points for being unquestionably white centric and male centric in 2013.
